This year the Queenscliff Film Festival is serving up a program of uplifting films that celebrate the best of the human spirit. Funny, quirky, touching movies, films with heart.
Running over the weekend of Friday 28th June to Sunday 30th June at Queenscliff Town Hall, the Festival will warm a winter weekend with films shining a light on the tender, the tough, the sometimes troubled and the often triumphant. The 2024 program is a curated menu of five award winning movies that showcase what talented filmmakers do best; bring powerful and moving stories into our cinemas.
The QFF invites the community and visitors to the region to join in and enjoy films that celebrate the enduring power of friendships and family, the value of taking pleasure in the everyday and exploring different cultures and breath-taking locations through the magic of cinema itself. QFF is delighted to welcome Twilight Cinemas back to the festival to bring a world class cinema experience to the historic Queenscliff Town Hall. From the opening night wine and canapés reception, fascinating special guests, and delicious Saturday night dinner at Shelter Shed, patrons can expect to enjoy great cinema and the best of the Bellarine hospitality.
QFF is excited to be welcoming special opening night guest, star of the stage and screen, Sigrid Thornton to Queenscliff. Sigrid will be chatting all things cinema with Hannie Rayson as part of the opening night celebration on Friday evening (June 28th).
