Queenscliff Primary School Art Show - 'It's Alive'

 Queenscliff Primary School are hosting an Art Show showcasing artworks created by students at Queenscliff Primary School from Prep to Year 6 in 2024. The Art Show will display a range of artworks using different materials, mediums and techniques with inspiration from famous artists, Wadawurrung Country and the world around us.

The artworks have been created through inspiration of famous artists, nature on Wadawurrung Country and the wondrous things in our world. Our Art Show is a valuable opportunity for our students to express themselves and how they connect to others and the world around them, whilst gaining the experience of a ‘real artist’ with their creations being displayed in a community art gallery.

The Art Show is a culmination of artworks created by students through our Visual Arts program led by our talented teaching artist, Mrs. Kelly Caldwell. The Art Show will include a variety of techniques and mediums, including pastels, acrylic, watercolours, clay sculptures and textiles. Something for all to enjoy!

The Art Show will be open from 11:00am-2:30pm and 3:30-7:00pm on Thursday 8th August. We will be having an official opening and presentation at 6:00pm with which we would be delighted for you to attend. The Art Show is open to all, including students, families, alumni of Queenscliff Primary School, friends and community members.
