Come join the wonderful Kym Alexandra Dillon and William Vyvyan Murray as they perform a program of Sonatas, Songs and Spiders at St George's O. S. Hall in Queenscliff.

The first half features the stunning work of Ukrainian composer Stefania Turkewich, Toru Takemitsu's "A bird came down the walk", Ruby Hunter's Welcome to all People and new music by William and Kym.

The second half will feature Dmitri Shostakovich's Sonata for viola and Piano. The last thing Dmitri wrote in 1975, and finished on his bed in hospital it is a stunning musical masterwork.

William was fortunate to spend a month working & playing with Mikhail Muntian in 2012, the pianist who Dmitri wrote the Sonata for in 1975 and will share some of his stories of the genesis of the piece at the concert.
