ANZAC Day, a national day of remembrance, is a day to honour and remember the contributions and sacrifices of Australians who have served in the armed forces, both in times of war and in peacekeeping operations.

Lest we forget.

Council supports Queenscliff RSL to organise and deliver the following services on the day:

  • Queenscliff - Dawn Service at 5.45am at the Ocean View car park, 134 Hesse St. Queenscliff.
  • Point Lonsdale - Cenotaph Service. March and service at the Pt. Lonsdale Cenotaph, assemble for the march - 8.40am from Point Lonsdale Road to the Cenotaph.
  • Queenscliff – Fort Queenscliff Service March and service, assemble for the march 10.40 am Queenscliff Post Office, Hesse Street to Fort Queenscliff.
