We take great pride in historical Hesse Street. That’s why we’re working on beautifying the Hesse Street roundabouts.
Part of the Hesse Street Revitalisation Plan, this project involves planting new vegetation and flowers on the Hesse St roundabouts, to bring colour, vibrancy and life to the area, all while respecting the height restrictions concerning road safety practicality.
The landscaping will be similar to the roundabouts on Stokes/Mercer St and Stokes/Stevens St, as Council has previously received positive feedback on the greening of these areas. Your feedback is important to us, which is why we’re asking for it again. The image to the side provides a visual of what we aim to achieve.
We’re asking for feedback regarding the Hesse St roundabouts beautification over the next two weeks. Click here to view a close up. To share your thoughts, simply email info@queenscliffe.vic.gov.au or call 5258 1377 before December 20.
