As part of Council's commitment to reconciliation and our Climate Emergency Response Plan (CERP), we've engaged the Wadawurrung Traditional Owners Aboriginal Corporation (WTOAC) to run Cultural Experience Sessions on Country. These free sessions are an opportunity to learn more about Wadawurrung cultural knowledge and connection to the land we live and work on, visit, and enjoy.

These sessions begin at Wirrng Wirrng for a talk about the past and current lived experience of Wadawurrung Traditional Owners. Each group will then walk down to the Queenscliff beach area where the host will share information on the life of Wadawurrung and care of Country, which includes discussion on uses of native flora and fauna.

There are three sessions you are able to enrol in - to ensure as many people as possible can enjoy and learn from these sessions, we ask you only book into one session.

These sessions are free of charge, however registration is essential. Please book in via the links below.
